Spring shadows

There were so many signs of spring in the garden this morning: buds on the climbing rose, the apricot tree, the almond tree in our neighbour's garden, a bee on the rosemary flowers.... This aloe vera is in shade most of the winter but today the sunlight and shadow on its leaves made it look as though it was under water.
