Desperately seeking

Counting Crows

After yesterday a 7.45 am walk seemed quite laid-back! (Thanks for the comments, stars and faves!) This time I wasn't looking for the ideal place to find a blip, I offered to keep The Man company as he did his bird count.

He is taking part in the British Trust for Ornithology Atlas project. This survey is carried out roughly every 10 year to show the range of birds in summer and winter in the British Isles. His sightings will form part of the data for a book.

The sightings I was most excited about was nuthatches, several of them. I have only seen them once in the garden!

That was this morning - now I've got #2 Daughter home and we're on our way out for a meal!

Have a great weekend!
