Sunday 20 February 2011: Dog Parade
Tookie and R are in town, and Pelicanguy and I accompanied them to some Bay Area spots: Lake Merritt and Point Isabel -- a place I'd never been before. Lovely views of SF Bay and the highest concentration of dogs and owners of any park I've seen. There's even a store of dog paraphernalia near the entrance. We went for the views, but Tookie says they usually go to a dog park on Sunday anyway.
