Tourists are back!

The hens take great delight in intimidating them. They do this by walking back and forth in front of the unsuspecting visitors cars looking dangerous. (I suspect they have watched too many films of lions stalking jeeps on safari).

Of course locals just drive on and know the hens will move out of the way sharpish.

But the poor tourists (being lovely, kind, chicken friendly people) are befuddled by this behaviour and, after a few minutes puzzled discussion within the car, a brave volunteer always end up getting out and gingerly shooing the haughty hen out of the way. Of course the hens don't give up and no end of persuasion is going to make them get off the road. They'll move of course, back and forth over the road but never quite leave enough room for the car to get past.

We did shout out of the window to them to just drive on, she would get out of the way but of course not until after I nabbed a blip.

We should probably have warned them of the hens next trick, to chase the car all the way down the road... but that would spoil the fun, wouldn't it?
