Track & Field

Today is one of those rare days when Mrs42 is at work and I'm on holiday (its a bank holiday Monday for most of the UK - although not everyone in Scotland gets it).

As its a beautiful day, I put on my hiking boots for the first time since the West Highland Way and headed off for an explore, towards Binny Craig.

Its amazing what you see when you take the time to look. In one field the whole crop was green when viewed one way and yellow when viewed the other - a trick of the light, but very cool.

The breeze was making the wheat rustle and shimmer like a green sea. The colour of the fields and the sky were amazing and even the sheep seemed relaxed. Ahhh.

LOTD: Portobelloman's b&w bluebell is a great close up - very delicate.
