Apple's list - a blip project. Day #1 - a baby

When An Apple a Day.. celebrated her 1000th blip the other day, she not only gave us an awesome sp, but also a list of things she'd might want/need/get/buy that would make the next 1000 a little easier. The list got me thinking, and earlier today I commented on her 1000th thusly:
Apple, I hereby declare you the inspiration of my 22 blips to come! I shall, in my upcoming 22 blips, try to go through the items on your list, blip them, and then evaluate their blip value so you know which you should go for first :)

Apple's list:
- a dog
- a baby
- a new camera
- a remote control for the new camera
- new lenses for sure
- a new house with more window light
- more free time
- new inspiration from somewhere, anywhere
- country roads with barns on them near by
- a pond in my backyard with lovely fall foliage
- another kitten or two
- a boat
- exotic vacations
- a project
- grungy filters, dirt, vaseline
- a studio set up all the time
- inner peace
- more encouraging comments
- an assistant
- a glass of wine tonight (and any night)
- a pat on the back
- a red balloon (or two)

To give each blip in the project a value when it comes to the penultimate question "How much easier does this make blipping?" I'll evaluate the different objects using these criteria:
- easy to blip
- feelgood
- nice to be around
- availability
and also add additional points with words that come to mind (for example: fun = +1)

Let's evaluate "a baby".
- easy to blip: We-ell... that depends on the mood of the baby and the time of day. They are rarely completely still, so good light is very helpful. As long as they are this little though, they stay where you put them :) -1+1 = 0 I guess!
- feelgood: Yes definitely! Baby smiles... :) +1
- nice to be around: Yes and no. Happy baby +1. Angry baby -1. 0
- availability: Since Apple's list consists of things to get/have, the baby availability when the baby is your own is of course +1.
Words that came to mind: adorableness +1

So, how much easier does a baby make blipping? The results are in, the points are tallied and a baby is currently rated at a whopping +3!

Now I must be off to think about what I should examine tomorrow! If you'd like to conduct a research of your own, drop me a line below so I can follow your progress and compare results :)

(I've blipped little Sigrid before.)
