David's Blips

Garden of the Gods

As we drive through the USA, the further west we travel, the scenery gets better.

Up until now every road has looked the same. Straight for miles and nothing at all to see. In fact one fast food restaurant worker as we travelled through Indianapolis couldn't understand why we would want to leave Scotland to visit her part of the world.

Today we visited Colarado Springs which certainly has the best scenery I've yet to see in the USA if not the world. Probably second after Norway.

Garden of The Gods, as the name may suggest, was breathtaking. Natural rock formations formed over millions of years. Provided an excellent setting for my 100th blip.

Thank you to everyone who's viewed, rated and commented on one of my photos. It's strange, photos I thought would get loads of comments got none, and photos that were quick captures just to have something for that day got loads.

I did a photo every day style task back in 2007 and stopped after 80 photos, so I've already broken that record. Now to get to 365. I'm thinking with the year ahead that should be fairly easy.
