Trust me I'm a girl!

Took a walk up Byres Hill to see the Hopetoun Monument this morning. Very crisp and sunny, which made the brick look stunning against the blue sky.

Jake came home from Nursery with Murron and the two played the afternoon away. I eavesdropped a little on their banter as they brandished lightsabers and heard this. Murron; 'Kill the cat!' (It was a toy cat.) Jake; 'No!' Murron; 'KILL THE CAT!' Jake; 'NO!' Murron; 'Just kill the cat Jake, it's part of the story..' Long pause as Jake looks quite troubled and finally says 'I thought girls were supposed to be nice.'
