A colour project - Pink

The only think I like about working early on a Sunday is the fact that the Royal Mile is still empty of tourists, so you can enjoy some peace and quiet in your walk for a change.

Now, the Royal Mile in Edinburgh is a very haunted place, and that's the only time of the week you can actually get a glimpse of the resident ghosts. You just have to take a closer look at the windows, hahaha!

Yes, Pink is the colour today.

Not being a very girly girl myself, pink is a colour that I usually try to avoid. Only a couple of times I have actually owned any pink clothes, and they ended up in a charity shop because I didn't wear them often enough. A pink umbrella I had didn't last long either, but that's because Edinburgh doesn't like umbrellas!

I remember at primary school in Barcelona, when the girls wore pink coats and the boys blue coats. Pink, always asociated with girls and anything girlie, although I have to admit it looks quite good on some guys.

Pink is also associated with a very good cause: Breast Cancer Awareness. Probaly the only thing that would convince me to wear pink.

It's been a long week, so I treated myself to a delicious pink doughnut!
