Stars...

...that's what you all are. I'm just totally overwhelmed by the response to my 365th blip yesterday. I have never seen so many comments, ratings and favourites; it was totally amazing to see all of this coming in.

It's been a hectic Monday again, with a client witnessed test at work (where our latest release of the software we've been working on was tested and approved) leaving me very tired. No time to recover from that; after dinner I had to leave again for another session of the landscape photography course.

We discussed the images that were taken yesterday. This was when the amazement continued as our teacher, professional landscape photographer Bas Meelker, used the exact image I picked for my blip yesterday and used it as an example of how great the colours in an image can look if you take the photo at the right time using the right settings. His other conclusion was that he needed a new tuque as the one he was wearing yesterday looked silly :-)

I was totally exhausted when I returned home but I still needed an image for blipfoto. Knowing that I could never come near the result I achieved yesterday, I decided to experiment somewhat and see if I could come up with a star trail image. You're looking at the result; an image composed of 56 exposures (all taken before midnight of course). Now it's almost one 'o clock and definitely time to get to bed. Thanks again everyone, as I said before: you are all stars...
