Chattyboo

It's never a dull moment round here! Meet Sean - don't worry, he's meant to look like that!! He's an actor!! This morning we had the delightful Chattyboo Theatre Company entertaining us. They've been every year for the last three and we love them. This year's play is Cuchulain - a famous and ferocious Irish hero who had an extremely complicated and eventful life. This was packed into an hour with only four actors. They work very hard!. This is Sean being an adoring maiden (rather reluctantly!) Somehow they manage to be serious, energetic, suitably rude (lots of fart jokes) and hilarious, and appeal to all ages including the big girls!

As is also tradition - after the performance we feed them scones and homemade jam - apparently we are the only school that does this! The sun shone and the kids had an extra long break. Sean's granny had made us a porter cake - it is colossal and very delicious. I was allowed to bring a wodge home and am currently on my second slice as I write. Even better, I have a day off tomorrow as they're off on their school tour and don't need me. And guess what - the wind is now a gentle breeze and the sun i shining! Awful forecast for tomorrow though.

Last arthouse tonight - Beuitiful (I think that's how it's spelled).I don't know what it's about but it's got yer man in who was very scary in No Country for Old Men. Apparently he's very nice really.
