Coastal Cloud Cover

A frigid day not remotely warmed by the afternoon sun.

I took our canine, Robbie, for a walk to try and warm up and shot this image of the coastal cloud creeping around the city hills. I shot in sunset mode to capture the faint blush of pink colouring presumably from the effects of the volcanic ash which is circling our planet.

The sun did shine in the afternoon but it made very little difference to cold marrow aching day. Still no snow though!!
