Posies in Rain Drops

Still raining today, but I caught a quick break in the downpour to catch these amazing big, fat rain drops in the garden. I loved the way the flowers reflected in the drops. I am hoping maybe the rain will let up tomorrow and I can get out to the flower fields for a bit - or maybe over to the park to watch the geese in the lakes. Who knows?

The humming birds were all a-tither today. I think the rain makes them even more frenetic than usual. Lots of impressive aerial displays and lots of angry chittering. I got a couple of snaps of the little females that I liked, if you want to have a look...
