Further adventures in the deep dark woods...

After a few messages concerning the torrential rain (wot no heatwave???) Steven and family, Brian and Douglas all convened at my place and wandered a few miles up the road to Torwood. Kids were let off the leash and an iron age broch, a castle and a mysterious pool were all explored. The kids all loved the geocaching, playing with sticks, bothering ladybirds and the corpse of a bird of prey, the muddy cohorts then returned again to mine for tea.

A great afternoon out and one to be repeated. Those woods hold a lot of potential for some great shots. Not even explored the half of it yet.
