Monday 2 January 2012: The New Year Derby
Down to Granton to do a bit of measuring up for some work on the boat. While I was there I watched some yachts come in from Port Edgar - a cold day for a sail down here, and a bit colder upwind back.
Then, to the new neighbour's for lunchtime drinks. Of course, this coincided with the Edinburgh derby, damnation! And just as a double whammy, her house is bloody immaculate, which is always very cheering to see. Still, at least the right side won. Happy New Year to all my Hibby readers!
