(Rail)Road to Somewhere

I went for a walk at lunchtime, to take photos of the Anglican church nearby. That necessitated crossing the railroad tracks (at a proper crossing, mind), and on the way back I took this photo - and ended up liking it more than the photos of the church.

(As it happens, there is a church visible in this photo, but it's one of the bizarrely-unappealing Baptist ones.)

My usual B&W, sharpened, and thn I got silly with layers: I liked the look of an overlay layer n the tracks and gravel, but preferred a multiply layer on the rest of the photo... So I used both, with gradient layer masks so each applied where I wanted it.
