Under the spreading chesnut tree

This all looks a bit wrong but rather endearing. There are many picturesque pubs in Ballydehob but I was drawn to this one - firstly there is no sign whatsoever of a chesnut tree;  it really just looks like a house slightly customised; the heading is far too big for the doorway; the road is very steeep and wouldn't you have to be bold to go in!!

I had a very profitable time in Ballydehob - a new venue for the cards. I hate having to sell them but the woman in the shop I went into immediately said, yes, I'll take them all (I had 60 for her perusal) and yes, I'll pay straight away - job done! Onward to Skibbereen and not so successful, everyone had enough cards and the tourist office no longer takes merchanise - I think we're too upmarket for Skib! Tomorrow TJ and I are having  a business breakfast !!! There is no other time we can meet each other this week so we shall rendezvous in Durrus and discuss what we do next. I think we might have to become legal which means contracts and banks, and probably tax. Ah well.
