Friday 2 March 2012: Wind flower
And today for once there wasn't any! But very grey flat sky from mid morning.
Also called Japanese anemone, there are white and pink versions in NZ.
Lovely plants, coming at a time when everything else is looking rather jaded, and being white light up the garden and seem to grow and spread with very little effort. Apparently watering increases the size of the flowers, so that's something I'll have to try.
