Monday 12 March 2012: Frogspawn Rescue
Following my blip of 8th March I have persuaded neighbours to adopt some of the frogspawn we salvaged from the pond-that-isn't, so today took two clumps for their pond. There is already a sizeable mass and a smaller one in their pond but hopefully enough room for them all so the tadpoles won't fight or eat each other.
I still have three clumps waiting to find a home or the wee ones might grow up thinking a bucket is their mother- anyone near South Edinburgh able to help?
