Wednesday 28 March 2012: Easter Cards
This is Miss Pink enjoying making an Easter Card from the Messy Mama craft kit we are testing. We are loving the kit, tomorrow, it will be an Easter Bonnet.
We've had a lovely day in the sunshine, it's been glorious here. Miss Pink and I went to the little town to post a parcel up to Dotty. Miss Pink wanted to go for a walk to see the toys. I thought she meant the toy shop, but she actually meant a card shop which has a little basket of building blocks init for the childrent o play with. Anyway we had a lovely meander through the smallest town in England, stopping by the new sweet shop, and window shopping all the Easter displays in the shop windows. Miss Pink very proudly carried her paperbag of sweeties (5 sweets to be precise) through the town, stopping now and again to have a nibble.
After school Master pink was hot and bothered. We had ice lollies in the garden, and the mini pinks pretended to be puppies and dogs for a little while. (I throw the ball they bring it back, and then bark, or "wag" their tail!) They were beginning to get a bit fidgety, so I washed the water play table out, and they had a play with the octonauts toys. They were both playing beautifully, and for ages. It was a lovely moment to watch.
The builders stopped by at tea time to bring pieces of wood, and to do lots of very noisy drilling in preparation for part one of the roof going on.
Oh and I blame that Jeni..... I bought shaving foam this morning!
