Sunday 1 April 2012: Apéros in the garden
Another hot, sunny day and after C arrived this afternoon we had apéros as the sun set over the hill behind the garden. All should be perfect, but there are a couple of clouds - one literally, that the weather is going to change back to more normal spring sun and showers, the other that I seem to have caught a flu-type bug which is making me feel rotten tonight. Hoping to be better tomorrow as we're all going to Banyuls-sur-mer to stay by the sea for two nights for my sixtieth birthday on Tuesday. Now lots of good things are being put on the barbecue in the place so I'm going to do my best to enjoy it all! Last time LoJ and I stayed in this hotel the restaurant was really excellent and I'm sure it's still the same.
