Catalan boat

Lovely to be back in (French) Catalunya again - so much colour even when the sun goes behind a cloud! Very difficult wifi connection in the hotel and lots to do over the next couple of days, so I won't be commenting much till I get home.

At supper I discovered a new dish, civet de seiche au banyuls, a stew of cuttlefish and red peppers in an almost black, thick sauce made with the naturally sweet wine (because the grapes get so much sun) that is made in this area. Something I'll definitely try to re-create at home.
