Water

After yesterday's day-long downpour there's no shortage, and in any case this fountain in the old market place, constructed in 1678, has shamefully (most of us think) been incorporated into a closed system so that it's forbidden to take water from it as people have done for centuries. It seems a while since I had time to wander around the village taking photos of the old streets and buildings. One fellow photo enthusiast passed me and pointed out something I hadn't noticed before - a very explicit gargoyle at the top of the church tower....take a photo of it and then zoom it on the screen, he told me. I may blip it one day, if I'm allowed!
