Holiday apéro

Although it doesn't look much like a holiday outside, with rain pouring down again. I worked in the morning, making the most of a grey day so that I can take time off later in the week when better weather is forecast. Cava, olives, fuet and chorizo while we cooked our lunch - roast kid from Mas Rolland (where we went on Saturday to buy cheese and, of course, without the kids there would be no cheese), cooked with potatoes, carrots and pumpkin, on a bed of wild thyme and with white wine and tomato puree in the dish to make a delicious tasty sauce, red wine from Roquessels, and goats' cheeses. It's still raining, but we feel a lot more cheerful now!

PS I've just noticed that my year ago blip was also apéro-related, but last year it was in sunshine.
