Wednesday 4 April 2012: Redpoll
Still confined to the house today but hopefully on the mend enough to venture out to tomorrow evening's blipmeet, fingers crossed. The promised weather front moved through overnight and early morning, dumping a load of snow on us which has just about all gone now at teatime. That meant the elder tree was busy with all kinds of birds on the feeders and there were several redpolls instead of just the solitary one. They can spat as good as goldfinches! I took two or three redpoll blips but decided to go with this one because of the background.
