Thursday 12 April 2012: Pretty in pink

Spring is the time of year when things get pretty colourful in the natural world. In the last few days the flowers of this tree outside my house have turned a beautiful shade of pink.
It was just asking to be blipped. Perhaps someone can tell me what kind of tree it is.
