SUNDAY MORNING WALK

led us first through the fairy-tale-coloured forest and then back along the Weser.
In the river there were so many boats, canoes and other rowing boats, easily sailing with the stream as we never have seen before. Some kind of festivities perhaps. Only one or two motorboats are going stream upwards.
Along our path all kind of plants are developping in a high tempo, some have flowers already, other one will have them soon. Only the impatiens glandulifera are just peeping above the earth. They will form vast fields later. Butterflies and bumble-bees and strange black flies dance and sit on the flowers.
The weather still pleasant and this will be a quiet afternoon for reading a book.

My haiku:

Leisurely sitting
On the bench along the stream
Mice and birds rustle

And the latin proverb:

You will soon break the bow if you keep it always stretched.
