Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

The able bodies

Every year in september we drag our rowing float, (separated into 3 pieces, like tinker toys) up on the beach at the end of the bay. Every spring we get it out. But we need more than the 2 of us for this work now -somehow it seems to get heavier every year!
So these are the 3 friends that wanted to take on this task this year (2 are rowers so will take advantage of it later...). Are you surprised we have some friends that do NOT want to do this? When the tide comes in this evening we'll tow it to our dock in the background and then we can easily launch any rowing shell, kayak, dory, child, etc. from it all summer. The clouds have rolled in today and it's cooler and windier.. D, K and T then went to gather some oysters in that white bucket which we ate fresh and raw for lunch (well they did. I had one... H none) T is the oyster lover and is planning another gourmet treat with them for tonight. He's also hoping for some crabs in the traps he set. (I do not like catching and killing any of these creatures, but some of our visitors love it. Also mussels- these I like_ and clams)

The Canada goose family we were watching last month is swimming around --tomorrow's blip, I hope!
