Tuesday 22 May 2012: Another Admiral
Yellow Admiral,Vanessa itea
Although the sunshine has lost much of it's warmth and the ubiquitous white butterflies have vanished there are still a few yellow admirals visiting the Viburnum flowers. This one had its left wing slightly raised, which makes it look narrower than the other.
I have seen only one red admiral this season, and that was from a window. It didn't hang around waiting for me to get out there with my camera.
One year ago: Black Glass, one of my favourite glass shots.
