ballet exams...

Sienna is practising for her up and coming ballet exam - although so far the greatest pleasure comes from me pushing the back the table to allow for a much bigger space to use. Once she has got over the joy that that involves - them she gets down to the serious stuff...well nearly! First we 'argue' over which is first position - because that is open to interpretation thinks Sienna - 'not' say I. Then there is the need to create the group dance with her dancing all 4 positions (yep as confusing as it sounds) and then there is the moment of 'oh look it is the cat and I feel the need to stop all this dancing and play with him.' And so it goes on...

Still I feel that we have ticked off the requirement to practise at home and  with neither of us pinning too much on the end result - both justifiably happy with the effort!
