Hairy Woodpecker

Again I am thankful for my visiting birds when I don't have time to think about a blip.  I took this through the window this morning, thinking I might not pick up the camera again today, and I was right.  I'm so pleased to have a pair of Hairy Woodpeckers who have been here for a few months now.  This is the first time in 29 years in this house that we've had them at our feeders.  Many thanks to Cailleach for hosting Wild Wednesdays!

I am grateful that the two skin biopsies I had last week were benign!
