Fieldmouse in the Snow ...........

....... pretty obvious eh!!!! :-))

You can actually see his WHISKERS on large!!

This was taken, in the back garden, at about 1.00am before I went to bed - the outside light was on and it had been my intention to let Shadow out one last time, looked through the door window and saw something move in the snow ..... grabbed my camera, wound up the ISO to about 4 million and took a few shots ...... all looked pretty awful on the screen so risked opening the door quietly and stuck the camera on auto (which meant the inbuilt flash kicked in).

Mousey turned slightly and I got three shots off before he sunk his head deeper in the snow .... shut the door and left him in peace.
(Shadow went into the front garden last night - am sure he would have terrorised the mouse)

Not the very best of shots but have never blipped a mouse before - a first for me!!!! Am ridiculously pleased to capture him and think he's so cute!
