Life and Death

Water gives life, but I think it's too late for my drought stricken kowhai tree. The only thing alive on it appears to be the rain.

Sorry to blip what is essentially the same as yesterday - but it has rained off and on most of the day and the novelty hasn't worn off yet!

The green refraction and the green background give a very false impression of lushness. Both are created by my swan plants which are about the only thing still growing in the garden.
