Nibbles Anyone?

Absolutely no time for my camera today.

Tesco delivery didn't arrive last night till 8.30pm so by the time that was put away and we'd had dinner, it was too late and i was too knackered to sstart cooking for tonights together with friends. That meant I was up early and into the kitchen to prepare 3 course dinner for 6.

Don't think i left the kitchen until 5.30 when I went upstairs to get showered and changed. Friends (Ian, Cathy, Aileen and Jim) were supposed to arrive at 7.30 but I suspected they might be early as this was their first trip to our new house and I knew they would leave in plently of time to allow for getting lost. We were ready for just after 7, which was just as well as they arrived just after quarter past!

I just had enough time to take a quick snap of David filling the nibbles tray before the doorbell rang!

A great night was had. Hadn't seen this lot for about a year so LOTS to catch up on. A great night with lots of laughter. We finally all crawled to bed at 3.00am.

In other news, Alan is much better and he absolutely LOVES his blue bedroom. He just keeps grinning about it, which is lovely to see.
