No Takers!

Sue’s car dashboard thermometer read 6° when I met her this morning, but it felt more like 1° as I walked to the meeting point- the wind was cutting as it whistled around my nether regions encased as they were in a cozzie under my Dry Robe.

In contrast, the sea did not feel as cold as recently and we had a wonderful 10 minute dook in a calm full sea . There was a rainbow over the the west Fife coast but my camera was on shore. Instead I give you the empty seats overlooking Groyne 4.

All is ready for the arrival of a Stromness Singing Selkie who will stay with me for 3 nights. She has had a day of travelling via Scrabster and Inverness and I’m sure she will be glad to get here. I’ll revive her with alcohol- it works every time!
