FIRST WE WENT

to the concert of the Liedertafel (mixed choir) in the Landgrafensaal. Our friendly neighbours are singing in the choir. When the weather would have been better the concert would have been held in the Rosengarten (Rosary).
For more than an hour we listened to the lovely songs, some we knew well, some others not.
After that we walked around town and along the river.
Before a late lunch we then talked with Misch on skype, we telling what we had done till now and Mischa what she had done since we had left.
But our program for today continued when we were asked to come and visit the garden lower on the hill, that happened to be part of the Garten Partie 2013.
Owners of a beautiful garden held open house (garden in this case) and we dwelled there, met friends and enjoyed the colourful garden with flowers and vegetables, and art.
I now have a tiny hazelnut plant that will grow big in our garden and have nuts for the squirrels.
My blip I took in the morning when the rain had stopped and I saw the amazing raindrops everywhere.

My haiku:

Our day was filled with
Music and horticulture
And Mischa's sweet voice

And the proverb:

Het verliefd worden komt op als eene verkoudheid (ook wel: als een onweer)

Translation:

The falling in love comes out as catching a cold (also: as a a thunderstorm).
