2024 Friday — Across the Bay

Rumor has it that rain is on the way. We enjoyed a summer-like day and then during our dinner clouds covered the sky and blocked the sun and the sky just simply turned more beautiful as the clouds filled with the light of the sun.

This has been a quiet Friday. I cooked a mid-morning breakfast; used the afternoon to complete some line items on my “To Do” List, while Mr. Fun was downstairs in our garage in our indoor shed installing grab handles on the wall near the staircase. We are gradually getting some excess items (various holiday decorations: Christmas, Valentine’s, Easter, July 4th, etc.) out of the house and downstairs to our indoor shed.

We prepared tacos for our evening meal. I’ve found some low sodium corn tortillas that warm well in the oven; then we pile them full of taco meat, grated mild cheddar cheese, shred butter lettuce, diced onion, diced tomato, and chopped cilantro.

After dinner we walked the pups several blocks just about the moment the sun was setting, but we couldn’t see it because of the cloud bank. We enjoyed walking the pups and they were thrilled to be at the end of their leashes.
