Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

It's been a tough day for Cleo!

We all slept well overnight, I woke to the sound of Ali and Josie going for breakfast at about 7.45. Bonnie of course was there too, but had already fed.
After breakfast we played with the jigsaws and Gruffalo snap. Josie alternates between the English and Scots versions of the creatures names.
The Scots version begins -
"A moose took a dauner through the deep, mirk widd.
A tod saw the moose and the moose looked guid...."
Our particular favourite is the word for an Owl - a Hoolet.
I popped out in the afternoon to do some shopping while Ali took Josie home. She came back with Bonnie for dinner and to stay over as her friend Anne is still here from Berlin.

We sadly failed to see any sign of the Aurora last night, even though I got up and checked regularly. I can't believe we missed such a spectacular display.
No pictures today, but luckily Cleo was near at hand.
