The Flag of New South Wales

A lot of people don't know about the flag of New South Wales but this is it. Here I found it fluttering energetically in our (at times) blustery conditions outside Katoomba's police station. This particular example looks a bit worse for wear unfortunately. It is fraying a little at the end and seems a trifle faded into the bargain.

Flags fascinate me when they are in action. I took a series of six pictures - every one of them quite different.
