An Awfully Big Adventure in the Mist

What a difference a day makes!
Yesterday it was high summer, today it's the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness; mists that cloaked the land from the Angus Glens to the Lothians, making it a wet crawl out of a soaking tent this morning.

In view of the forecast, there was not much option other than bundling the wet tent and ourselves into the car and heading the long way home via Dunkeld for a scone and coffee and Bankfoot Visitor Centre for lunch.

It's been an action packed 4days, with His Lordship and I savouring opulence matched by basic existence; the latter making me appreciate all the more being able to stay up after the sun goes down.

The tent is drying out in the airing cupboard as I type, ready for the next Awfully Big Adventure.
