Another day slogging at my new laptop. A task that should be quite pleasurable, but in fact is quite frustrating. The more I use Windows 8, the more I dislike it; it’s clumsy, unhelpful and ignores any attempts to set something up by immediately undoing it.

I can’t even update to 8.1 because the laptop version has been withdrawn for the time being.

I’m sorry to rant, especially to those of you that are not interested in computers, so here’s a non-computer picture, as was yesterday’s – I’m resisting taking a photo of the laptop, if I get to the point of throwing it out the window (pun) I might take a picture of the remains.
