Fingland Burn

After all the storms and floods of the past few days, it was with trepidation that we left EK this morning to head down to the borders for our walk up the Minchmoor. We started at Traquair, and walked up the 2,000 ft. or so to the trig point. The weather was beautifully sunny, a bit windy and quite cold, and very cold on top. However, we all have good gear, and we were fine.

Came down via the Fingland Burn near Glengaber, and I liked the colours in the glen, so made this my blip.

Had an hour or so in Peebles after the walk for a drink, and a good chat, before heading home, after a most enjoyable day.
