Nina and a Glass of Lager

Nina helped me with my blip today as we passed the Tennants Wellpark Brewery on Duke Street, on our walk from Dennistoun to Buchanan Street in Glasgow.

It was quite a lengthy walk for a 5 year old who had been swimming in the morning, but the promise of a cupcake of prodigious size in Lewis's kept her going, and was enjoyed as her mother and I could only look on in envy.

I was back in Glasgow to help a little with the children in the school holidays. Nina rewarded me by making me a bracelet out of tiny coloured elastic bands - a technique she learned at school which has become the latest thing to do and which has created a a fashion icon that no 5 year old , or for that matter no Grandmother, should be without.
