We have enjoyed a day of sunshine.

We pootled to the local Garden Centre.

Saw all manner of Lovely Things.
Which made the Lovely Things we already own (?)
look Tired and Slightly Wrong.
However, we are going to manage with our Slightly Wrong Things.
Last year (and the five or six before that) they looked like Fine Things.
So, soon they'll be Shabby Chique..
(or possibly Tatty Rubbish) and then we'll start again. :-)

In Other News:
The Aged Parent has had a freezer malfunction.. Sigh..
Just when you draw breath and think you'll be home for a few days.
Still, of all the breakdowns that could happen,
at least this one isn't of the nervous kind!
Yet.

(This Aged Parent, in a somewhat uncharacteristic ('other peoples leaves' type) grumpy rant, suggested to me that 'there should be a LAW that prevents anyone from having trees anywhere NEAR a property'. (Bless).
I'm seriously thinking that there should be a law that all parents should move to live within a 50 mile radius of their kids.
I might go into politics, and start the UKIN party perhaps?).

I think the sun might just be over the yardarm.
