THIS HAD BEEN THE IDEA

and it worked well. Go early to the communal garden, the one near our home and hopefully the light is not already too bright. Then go home, look at your pictures, see what Piet Hein had experienced at the beach, how his bath had been, see his pictures.
Then it would be time for lunch and after that preparing for our trip to Amsterdam where we would attend a festive party of a friend that we have known more than forty years.
Alas, the first part of our plans went well but when we arrived at the platform where we should find our train, the announcement was short: No trains to Amsterdam for the next hours.
There was hardly an alternative, going first to Utrecht and from there to Amsterdam? We would arrive there when the party was nearly over.
I suggested not to take the first bus back home but enter a tram that went to Schevingen or to the center and have a drink. But somehow everyone expected a thunderstorm to come over our heads and what was the use of going to Scheveningen and be wet?
So we went to the center, had a drink and then went home.
Time for dinner! and posting our pictures.

My haiku:

The garden full of
Flowers und under the leaves
There live the insects

And the proverb:

Daar is geen kop of staart aan te vinden.

Translation: On cannot find a head or tails in it.
