Friday 19 March 2010: Pakawau sundown

I've been needing a break in my beloved Pakawau for some time now and this weekend was it........

Left to drive over the hill straight after work without even going home first which, given that it's only a 4 minute drive home, was quite some achievement for me!

Arrived at my cabin in time to share a brief talk to some locals about changes at the camp and then took some time down on the beach where I was swathed in the beautiful, mellow evening light.

I felt more at home almost immediately as the stresses flowed out of me and I was able to enjoy the quiet, peaceful, simple and uncomplicated atmosphere of Golden Bay.
