Bike Ride

We took a great bike ride today as a family. Each of our kids had seats attached to our bikes so we were able to ride about five miles together. We had views of the river, the city, the bridges, and a huge bald eagle nesting high upon it's perch. I didn't even attempt the shot, my lens would not have done it justice. So we all ooohed and aaaaah'd and kept it for our memory.

We've always made it a priority to be an active family and today was one of those highlight kind of days. The wind in our face, the temperature just bordering on chilly, and then out of the blue.....the sun popped out. "Faster, faster, faster" screamed our daughter. "Ha ha ha, we passed you" yelled our son. These are the memories that we strive for. The memories that enrich our lives. Together as a family with the wind in our faces. The ultimate bike ride thus far.
