Kingfisher
Youngshanks and I were sent out shopping today and the only route I know is via Lemsford Springs. Youngshanks hasn't been there before and he doesn't really do bird watching, but he excelled himself today by spotting this kingfisher. It then turned on the style with a fine display of hovering and catching a couple of fish, this kept us entertained for quite a while, but once it departed there was no more putting off the shopping trip.
