Stirling in the mist

For reasons that she didn't even try to explain, Mandy got herself roped into another bag-packing at Asda for the scouts. It's the same old story, 24 say they'll do it, 9 cancel just before the event and another five don't turn up, which is a shame since they seemed to be really busy and made a lot of money but could have made twice as much if people had done what they said they would do.

Rather than get stuck at home, I took the bairns to Stirling Castle to have a wander and get everyone a bit of fresh air. I had hoped for better photos but it turned out very misty - a right pea-souper and no mistake. Nice wander though.

We only had a couple of hours in the castle before he had to get back to Dunfermline to pick up Mandy to drive to Brechin so that we could dump the weans with her mum and then head to Brechin to go to see Idlewild and live like non-parents by having a sleepover in a hotel.
