I gave a lot of thought to photojournalism today.

Familiarise yourself with the location. Tick - one street I know well.
Plan exposure, do some trials. Tick - chose manual.
Find a good vantage point. Tick - step ladders would have been useful!
Have everything you may need. Tick - but the tripod wasn't used and got in the way.

When all else fails - put on you biggest lens and follow the press!
When asked who you're working for say "Doing shots for Blipfoto to be seen Internationally! Yes, I really said that!

Joking aside this is Dawn (dchs) who has been working very hard to publicise the possible closure of the only cinema within 20 miles because the landlord would prefer one of the national chains of pubs to come to the town.

The most telling plackard read "PENRITH: 20 PUBS, 1 CINEMA!"

While Dawn was making a public address, Jane (JEP27) was handing out leaflets.

The public turned out even in the rain to make their feelings heard. A very worthwhile hour!
